Form 17: Used for licensing petroleum refineries, blending plants, or storage under special conditions; issued by PESO.
Form 14: Applied for large-scale or bulk petroleum storage installations exceeding specified limits; issued by PESO.

What is the minimum quantity that requires a PESO license?
As per Petroleum Rules, 2002, you need a license if storing:
Class A (e.g., Petrol, Methanol): > 30 litres
Class B (e.g., Diesel, Kerosene): > 2,500 litres
Class C (e.g., Furnace Oil, Lubricants): > 45,000 litres
Storage below these limits may be exempted but must still follow safety precautions.
What are the documents required to apply for a PESO license?
Duly filled application form (e.g., Form 15)

What is the validity of a PESO license?
Most PESO licenses are valid for 3 years and must be renewed before expiry. Duration may vary depending on license type and facility category.
